Hi.  My name is Hughena; that is pronounced Hugh Ena.  Yes, it has been butchered many times and many ways, but don’t worry, I’m used to it.

I live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  Through my blog I will share some of my passions with you, and there are many.  I will share writings (prose and poetry), photography, knitting, music, travel, sports and appreciating the little things in life.  I consider myself to be artistically creative, or maybe it is creatively artistic.

My plan is to keep my posts positive and light-hearted, and I hope my quirky sense of humour will be displayed at times as well.  I have no set schedule of when I will post, so I may delve into the archives and share some of my past writings to get things started.  Or I may not, if ideas come to mind quickly.
